Who We Are

We founded Scribbi as parents of two young children who believe technology should serve children — not consume them. Like many parents, we want our kids to benefit from modern technology, but we were uncomfortable handing them devices designed without their best interests in mind. Most “kids’ tech” still pulls attention away from focus, creativity, and real learning. So we decided to build something different.

Scribbi is designed to take the best parts of technology, such as adaptability and efficiency, while removing the parts parents worry about. There’s no web browsing, no games, no notifications, and no distractions; just a focused, handwriting-first learning experience that helps kids build real skills while staying present.

This is a device parents can feel good about putting in their child’s hands: technology that encourages learning, creativity, and focus instead of dependency.

Before founding Scribbi, we worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs (where we met), and afterwards both gained deep experience investing in, working at, and mentoring startups.

But more than our professional backgrounds, Scribbi is shaped by our most important role: being parents. We’re building the product we want for our own children, and for families who want safe, healthy technology.

What We Do

Scribbi is redefining how children learn by combining the cognitive benefits of handwriting with the adaptability of AI—all in a distraction-free, paper-like E Ink smart notebook. Designed for Pre K–5 learners, it grows with each child, adjusting to their unique learning styles for a deeply personalized experience.

We empower parents to take a more active role by spending quality time engaging with their child while AI handles lesson planning, activity prompts, and delivers meaningful insights into how their child learns best. AI is the future. We’re helping children embrace it safely and with purpose.
